At Al-Huda Primary School we are all rigorously aware that the welfare of all our students is our main priority. To ensure that all our children always feel safe and comfortable within the school environment the Child Protection Policy and Procedure is regularly reviewed and embedded within the school environment on a daily basis.
Every staff member within Al-Huda are professionals who have all undertaken an interview checking procedure. All members of the school are cleared of Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) investigation procedures. Al-Huda staff members are regularly trained and are fully aware of their responsibility of promoting and safeguarding the Al-Huda pupils.
Priority will always be given to parents and carers to ensure that that their child's welfare is accordance to the Safeguarding Policy and Procedure. In unfortunate circumstances, due to concerns of a pupil's welfare status, information in regards to the pupil may have to be shared to a third party agency.
The welfare of each pupil is under the management of Al-Huda's Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher and designated class teacher. For the additional welfare of each pupil there are designated safeguarding teachers also available within the school.
